Hanan Hamed Muhammad Al-Hroub is a Palestinian teacher who won the Best Teacher in the World Award , which was launched by the Firekey Gems Foundation , which specializes in developing education , in its second session in 2016 AD , after the first session in 2015 AD was won by the American teacher Nancy Atwell . She received the award amounting to one million dollars from Sheikh Muhammad. Bin Rashid Al Maktoum .
Her life
Hanan Al-Hroub was born in Dheisheh Camp to a Palestinian refugee family in 1948, and graduated from Dheisheh Girls School in the scientific branch. She completed her university education at Al-Quds Open University and studied primary education.
She now works as a teacher at Samiha Khalil Mixed Higher Basic School in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate .
On June 5, 2016, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas awarded her the title of Honorary Ambassador of Palestine for Creative Education.
