Idris Rayan (17 years old) is considered the best emerging basketball player in Palestine. Despite his young age, he is distinguished by skill, strength, durability and focus, which made him superior to the players of his generation.
Rayan grew up in an exceptionally athletic family, in which he developed a love for the sport of basketball, even a passion for it. His father, Captain “Osama Rayan,” is considered the first star of the Al-Maghazi Services Club in Gaza.
Rayan began practicing his favorite sport at the age of 9 years at the Al-Ebdaa School under an elite group of coaches in Gaza. Rayan continued his training at the Al-Ebdaa School for six years until he became one of the most efficient players despite his young age.
Ryan was able to score 119 goals in eight matches, each match not exceeding two and a half halves. He aspires to become the best basketball player in Palestine and the world.
