In the first place, the blind Palestinian Muhannad Antar Al-Saadouni graduated from the Islamic University in Gaza, Department of Arabic Language. The university honored him by giving him a full scholarship for a master's degree.

Al-Saadouni, who was afflicted with blindness when he was three years old, and the disability presented him with a number of challenges.

Muhannad says at his university graduation ceremony: I was a young child who wanted to exercise my rights and enjoy my childhood, but I could not. My disability and the many challenges I faced grew with me, but with the support and help of my beloved parents, my self-confidence was strengthened and my faith in my abilities was strengthened. I got up holding on to my disability, turning it into a sword of hope and will. He cut through the challenges, recalling the words of God, Blessed and Exalted be He, in the Qudsi Hadith: “If My servant is afflicted with his two beloved ones, then he is patient, and Paradise will compensate him for them both.”

It is noteworthy that Al-Saadouni ranked third at the level of Khan Yunis governorate and twelfth at the level of the Gaza Strip in Sharia general secondary school with a rate of 97%.
