The young Palestinian engineer, Nawras Walid Salim, from the Gaza Strip, won the Arab Creativity Award for the year 2019, for his research entitled “The Impact of Globalization on the Development of Construction Services in the Arab World,” in the United Arab Emirates.

Where the researcher chose service and social construction in the Gaza Strip, which is done through international donors, and dealt with what Norwegian Refugees Cancel offers of service projects in support of service construction.

The research was praised by the competition jury, who submitted more than 913 entries.

However, the blockade of Gaza and the difficulty of travel prevented Nawras from reaching the Emirates Palace hall, where the celebration activities were held.
