Abu Youssef indicated about her invention by saying that she participated in the competition for the title of the best Arab inventor "about my invention of an active adhesive for the eyelid of a blinked eye, which enables patients with facial paralysis to regain control of the upper and lower eyelids after suffering from amblyopia, indicating that this invention is very important as it works in place Work a muscle that the nerve did not reach for some reason.

She added that the idea will develop further, and will be used for many areas in stimulating the muscle and protecting it from relaxation and stimulating the nerve, but here it performs the work of the seventh nerve that feeds the upper and lower eyelid muscle, and it is known that the main feeder of the eyelid muscle is the seventh nerve, and because of a problem in the nerve The eye remains open and the person cannot close it, indicating that it may cause many indispensable problems such as corneal dryness and corneal ulcers, and the matter may reach blindness.

Abu Youssef confirmed that she will be optimistic, God willing, and hopes to be among the final four, indicating that she will seek to develop the idea in the future to be used in various muscular diseases related to nerves, and that she will complete her studies beyond what she has reached.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Abu Youssef was born in Jordan (1986) from Halhul in the city of Hebron. She holds Jordanian citizenship and Romanian citizenship (from her mother). She completed general medicine from Romania, and worked for a year as an intern at Al-Makassed Charitable Hospital in Jerusalem. After her return to Romania, she completed her specialization. in the field of ophthalmology.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinian Walid Al-Banna (35 years) won the title of Star of Science in the final of the tenth season of the "Stars of Science" program for his invention of glasses to analyze the retina of the eye for brain health.
