Majd al-Din Kamal Eid, a 13-year-old boy from al-Sabina camp, won second place in the “My Story” competition for the best short realistic story at the “Watanqat Watan” Foundation festival in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The winners of the competition were honored in front of a large crowd of people, during which the boy Eid was awarded the silver prize for the first age group from 10 to 16. The competition lasted for nearly four months and received the stories of everyone, those who suffered, succeeded, tired, were patient, struggled, strived, and conquered.
