The young Palestinian-Jordanian woman, Nour Al-Ghafari, recorded a distinguished achievement after completing the Mount Everest Marathon, becoming the first Arab woman to celebrate this achievement.

The Everest Marathon (42 km) is considered one of the highest and most difficult running competitions in the world, as it rises 5,356 meters above sea level.

The contestant, Al-Ghafari, dedicated this achievement to supporting the Paces Charity, which contributes to encouraging children and youth of both sexes to practice sports through programs and training classes for young men and women in Palestinian camps in Jordan.
