Professor Dr. Salah Hussein Al-Hudalya is a professor of archaeology and cultural heritage at the Institute of Archaeology. Al-Hudalya graduated from Birzeit University in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, and sociology. He earned his Master's degree in Bronze Age archaeology from Yarmouk University in 1992 and completed his Ph.D. in prehistoric and early historical archaeology at Heidelberg University, Germany, in 1999.

Al-Hudalya joined Al-Quds University in 2000 and has served as the head of the Department of Archaeology and the Institute of Archaeology for three terms. In addition to his administrative roles, he has been a member of various committees within the Faculty of Arts and at the university level. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several international specialized journals and is a member of the Palestinian Advisory Council for the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

In recent years, Al-Hudalya has conducted numerous archaeological excavations and restoration projects at various archaeological sites, including sites such as Khirbet Atira, Khirbet Al-Luz, and Khirbet Shuweikeh. He has authored multiple research papers and published books in reputable international journals and publishing houses.
