Fatima Musa Al-Khatib is a professor of physical geography and climate in the Department of Geography and Urban Studies at the College of Arts. She specializes in applied climatology. She was appointed as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Geography and Urban Studies at the College of Arts on September 1, 2004. She started as a research and teaching assistant for three years before joining the Master's program in geography at An-Najah National University, where she obtained her Master's degree in physical geography with a specialization in applied climatology. Later, she was promoted to a professor in the Department of Geography and Urban Studies in 2008. She has also served on various committees at the college level and contributed to the development of the curriculum in the Department of Geography.

Fatima holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Jerusalem in 2003 and a Master's degree in physical geography from An-Najah National University with a specialization in applied climatology in 2008. She teaches various courses, including Principles of Climate, Physical Geography, Nature and Environment of Palestine, Geomorphology, Geography of the Arab World, Biogeography, Human Geography, Quantitative Geography, and others at the College of Arts. Her scientific interests are focused on physical and climatic geography, climate impacts, climate change, applied climatology, and quantitative geography.
