At An-Najah National University, every student has become an ambassador, an ambassador for his country and his university in various international forums, in every workplace, and in every position he holds. The banner of his alma mater accompanies him wherever he goes, for its children rise and in its name they rise.

Student Haya Hussein Salim Al-Barghouti, a fifth-year student in the Department of Computer Engineering at An-Najah National University, was chosen as an ambassador for the IEEE Society within the (IEEE MADC) competition as a representative not only of An-Najah University but also of Palestine.
Haya’s distinction as an ambassador was evident through the introductory seminars she presented in the competition, and workshops on developing mobile phone applications in various Palestinian universities, in addition to her hosting of experts and specialists in the aforementioned fields. She was recently chosen as the third best IEEE ambassador in the world in the competition. ((IEEE MADC) by the parent association in the United States of America, and among dozens of ambassadors from various universities around the world.
The IEEE Mobile Application Development Contest (MADC) is considered one of the most important competitions concerned with developing smartphone applications from various programming platforms around the world.
Student Haya’s distinction does not stop there, as she is active in the volunteer field, as she is considered one of the volunteers in the Google Developers Group around the world. She also seeks to expand the idea of the Girls in Tech initiative in Palestine.
Regarding her ambition, the student Haya said: “My ambition is to increase the participation of Palestinian students in various international competitions. I have full confidence in the Palestinian student to achieve achievements in various international forums and competitions. Obtaining third place in a global competition has strengthened my ambition and encourages me to compete more to reach higher grades.” .
