Coordinator of the Community Advocacy and Accountability Unit in the Regional Office - Gaza 

Its role includes implementing a series of activities aimed at gaining community support, a specific group, or public opinion makers in society in order to influence decision makers to change, amend, or add a relevant law, decision, policy, or procedure related to an issue of concern to a specific societal group or society as a whole. . It also includes planned work to draw attention to a specific problem, put it on the agenda, propose solutions to this problem, build support and mobilize to work towards the problem and solve it.

This is with the aim of working to draw attention and mobilize community support for issues related to the management of public affairs and money, and to develop and use community accountability tools in implementing pressure campaigns by all different means and in partnership with all partners. In addition to providing support and legal advice to whistleblowers and victims of corruption, and finally working to manage, enhance and supervise the implementation of the oversight activities of the oversight forums and networks established by AMAN, coordinating their efforts and involving them in pressure and advocacy campaigns, planning, social accountability, and reporting corruption. 

I worked for more than 4 years in Aman as a coordinator of the Tajawob program, in which my role was characterized by the nature of humanitarian work, as Tajawob programs and activities varied, which focused on the marginalized and poorest areas in Gaza, the town of Al-Mughraqa and the village of Al-Malaha. “I felt proud that I had contributed to implementing activities that would improve the quality of The lives of marginalized citizens there” by raising their awareness, building their capabilities to represent society, identifying their priorities and advocating for them, and solving general societal problems in agreement with decision makers and using social accountability tools and disseminating its approach. 

She previously worked as a sector coordinator for the AMAN Coalition in the Gaza office, where she supervised youth initiatives, NGO initiatives, and many activities implemented with municipalities and public shareholding companies in Gaza, which aimed to engage local communities at the local level with decision makers in the culture of anti-corruption .

I previously worked as a coordinator for the project (Enhancing the Effectiveness and Independence of the Judicial Authority) since 2010, and I was responsible for coordinating the project’s activities in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of April 2010 .

I taught for a year in the psychosocial support program implemented by Mercy Corps International as a director of psychological support and awareness sessions, and I worked as a project coordinator in a number of projects with partial contracts in private institutions, where I worked as an emergency relief project coordinator for Catholic Relief Services with the Family Development Association and participated in preparing The strategic plan for family development, prepared a set of project proposals for civil society organizations, and managed many youth initiatives as a community activist .
