Nidal Abu Rajila is from the promising young generation of Palestinians in Romania. His father and mother are Palestinians from the town of Khuza’a in Khan Yunis - Gaza Strip. He chose to work in the ambulance field because of his passion for saving lives and because he was influenced by his compatriot Raed Arafat, the Romanian Deputy Minister of Health, who began his professional life in emergency ambulance. It reached advanced status and great success in Romania.

Nidal, in addition to his studies at the Institute of Health and Nursing in Bucharest, Assistent Medical Generalist at Scoala Postliceala Sanitara “Fundeni”, from which he will graduate this year as a physician assistant, to gain experience, he registered as a trainee at the Fundatia Pentru S.M.U.R.D. Specialized in rapid ambulance and emergency services and as an assistant physician at the ISU Bucuresti-Ilfov Emergency Foundation

Due to his excellence in his work, Nidal won the admiration of his superiors at work, so they chose him to be a leader for his colleagues, and he was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Foundation for the year 2018. He and his activities were introduced and it was pointed out that he is a son of Palestine who lives in Romania and serves his citizens. The Foundation published on its official page the events of the celebration and pictures of Nidal receiving the certificate of honor and the applause of the audience.

Nidal told the Arab News Agency in Romania (Alana News): He believes in teamwork and that this certificate is a certificate of appreciation for the team he worked within. He dedicates this honor to his father, who encouraged him to enter this field, to his mother, who raised him to love helping others, and to his two brothers, Naseem and Nader, who were the best help to him in completing his studies.

According to statistics, the Commission carried out 100,685 emergency cases, amounting to 23% of the total emergency cases in Romania, an increase of 38% over the year 2017, and most of these cases required specialized ambulance intervention in addition to fires.
