Information

A prominent educator with a high degree of rigor, uprightness and integrity. He was born in Nablus and studied in its schools. He worked as a teacher in Beersheba in 1920, and after that he worked as a teacher in Gaza, Ramla, and Tiberias. In 1936 he became an assistant to the knowledge inspector of the Galilee, then an assistant to the knowledge inspector of the city of Jerusalem, and was promoted to become general inspector of the Palestine Knowledge Administration. After unification, With eastern Jordan, he was appointed assistant to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Amman. He was appointed a member of the Senate in 1962. After the defeat of June 1967, he became head of the examinations committee, which held the high school exams and followed up on the implementation of the resulting procedures and certificates. He resigned from the membership of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah University. In protest against the imposition of political guardianship on the university, he wrote three books.
