The Syrian-Palestinian refugee Saeed Ahmed Mashaoar participated in the manufacture of gyrocopters, at a factory belonging to the Bilginar Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation in the city of Mersin, southern Turkey.
Masha'ar said in a televised interview, "He has been working as an assistant mechanical engineer for about a year at the factory, and they are in the process of developing a gyrocopter into an electric car."
The Palestinian refugee - formerly from the city of Aleppo - stressed Türkiye's support for Syrian expertise.
For her part, Tuncu Ay Demir, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bilginar Foundation, said: “We have no problem with Syrian workers in Turkey, and they are in common success.”
She pointed out that the development of work on the plane and the electric car comes with the support of a Syrian businessman.
Many Palestinian-Syrian elites contribute to scientific development processes in a number of fields. They made their way in the diaspora countries after fleeing the war in Syria, and recorded many successes in various fields in Europe, America and Asia.
