Ayman Abdel Majeed is a highly experienced researcher and the coordinator of the Surveys Unit at the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University. With over 20 years of experience in community programs and research, Ayman specializes in working with various demographic groups within Palestinian society, including women, youth, people with disabilities, children, and Palestinian refugees across Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan. He previously served as a member of the National Committee for Women’s Employment from 2010 to 2013.
Notable among his recent research contributions are studies such as "Access of Women with Disabilities to the Pillars of Formal Justice: Challenges and Obstacles" published by the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University in 2013, and "The Decline in Palestinian Youth Participation in the Labor Market: Reasons and Challenges from a Gender Perspective" published by the International Population Council in Cairo in 2011. Ayman holds a master's degree in gender and development from Birzeit University.
