The individual in question is the Founder and Director of the Arab Center for Engineering Studies (ACES). He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, obtained in 1972. Following this, he pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Structural Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, USA, in 1974, and later earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, California, USA, in 1978. His professional journey commenced as a Teaching and Research Engineer at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1975 to 1979. Subsequently, he served as a Geotechnical Engineer in San Francisco, California, USA, contributing to several major projects between 1979 and 1981. Transitioning to a leadership role, he headed the Geotechnical and Road Divisions at the Royal Scientific Society in Amman, Jordan, from 1982 to 1983.

In 1983, he founded the Arab Center For Engineering Studies (ACES) in Amman, Jordan, specializing in Site and Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Technology and Testing, and Quality Control. His professional impact extends beyond his company, with numerous publications in the field of Geotechnical Engineering. Additionally, he is actively involved in various organizations, serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors in INJAZ Organization, Jordan, among other roles in institutions like the National University College of Technology and the Institute for Palestinian Studies (IPS). He also contributes to nonprofit initiatives such as the Taawon Association and Ibda'a Establishment for microfinancing in Palestine.
