Once again, Palestinian journalists ranked first in journalistic competitions at the level of the Arab world.
The Palestinian journalist, Basil Al-Qadi, won the award for the best journalistic article in the Arab world in the "Nawaat" competition in the capital, Beirut.
The article was titled “Slowly... Israel is killing the Palestinian environment,” and it highlights the occupation’s violations against Palestinian farmers, especially on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, and the repercussions of spraying toxic pesticides on vegetables and their impact on human health.
Due to his presence in the besieged Gaza Strip, where the crossings are closed, the judge was unable to travel to Beirut and receive the award.
