Muhammad Tawfiq Muhammad al-Qabbani ( September 25 , 1947 , Jerusalem - May 31, 2015, Amman ), a Jordanian actor who studied and graduated from Mohammed V University in Rabat , Morocco , from the Faculty of Law, and obtained a degree in law , political science branch .
He began participating in artistic works in 1972 , in addition to his job and professional artistic work in 1982. He is considered one of the founders of the Jordanian Dramatists Association and a member of its administrative bodies until it turned into the Jordanian Artists Association. He became its president for two terms from 1990 He was also a member and then head of the Lanterns Band. A founding member of the Union of Arab Dramatists.
He participated in many local, Arab and international festivals and the highest committees of arbitration committees. He is a founding member of the Drama Criticism Forum in Amman on May 25, 2012 and head of its first session until November 2014. He is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association and rapporteur of its Drama Committee 2013-2015.

His death
Al-Qabbani died on Sunday morning, May 31, 2015, at the King Hussein Cancer Center at the age of 67. Al-Qabbani was suffering from lung cancer and began treatment at the center several months before his death. He was admitted to the intensive care unit on Saturday, April 19, 2015 until he died on Sunday morning, May 31. 2015
