A Palestinian photojournalist wins the award for best photojournalism in Dubai
Palestinian photojournalist Ahmed Gharabli won the award for best photojournalism at the seventeenth session of the annual Arab Media Forum, which concluded yesterday, Wednesday, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Grabli, a photojournalist for Agence France-Presse's Jerusalem office, won the Best Press Photo award at the annual Arab Media Forum, for a series of photos of Palestinian demonstrations in Jerusalem.
Ahmed Gharabli (37 years old), a Palestinian from occupied East Jerusalem, began working for Agence France-Presse in 2006.
Garabli was attacked by the occupation forces last year. He suffered a broken rib and two of his cameras were destroyed when he fell after a policeman on horseback attacked him and knocked him to the ground.
