His work

On August 6, 2018, Reuters suddenly dismissed Ali Samoudi, who began working with it in 1992, without compensating him or granting him any of his rights, according to Samodi.
Samoudi became prominent during his coverage of the events of the Israeli invasion of the Jenin camp in 2002, and the repeated incursions into Jenin during Operation “Break the Waves” launched by the Israeli occupation since April 1, 2022 on the West Bank as a result of Palestinian guerrillas from the Jenin area carrying out military operations against it.

His injuries

According to Samoudi, as of 2022, he has suffered seven injuries while covering the events of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict .
On April 24, 2004, Samodi was shot in the face during the Second Palestinian Intifada . [4]
On January 3, 2013, Samodi suffocated and fainted as a result of Israeli occupation soldiers throwing a toxic explosive bomb at him.
On October 10, 2015 and October 16, 2015, Samodi suffocated and fainted as a result of the intensity of tear gas canisters fired at Palestinian demonstrators at the Al-Jalama checkpoint, north of Jenin.

On May 11, 2022, Samoudi was shot in the back by the Israeli army while working as a producer for the Al Jazeera satellite channel team that was covering the storming of the Jenin camp , and was subsequently transferred to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin to receive treatment. Sherine Abu Aqla, Al Jazeera’s correspondent, was with him and was killed by Israeli bullets that hit her head. [7]
