Asaad Ghanem is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Haifa. His research focuses on various issues, including Palestinian political trends, the establishment of the political structure of the Palestinian Authority, and majority and minority politics from a comparative perspective.
One of his notable books is "Palestinian Politics after Arafat: A Failed National Movement," published as part of the Indiana Series in Middle East Studies. In this book, Ghanem delves into the dynamics of Palestinian politics following the era of Yasser Arafat, examining the challenges and failures faced by the Palestinian national movement.
