Information
Yazid Al-Rifai is an Assistant Professor and serves as the Vice President for Campus Development in the Office of the Vice President for Campus Development. He is also the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Music, and Design, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urban Design at Birzeit University.
With a Ph.D. from Graz University of Technology, Al-Rifai has advanced knowledge and expertise in architecture and urban design. His academic roles include teaching courses related to architectural design, architecture and planning theories, and product design. Additionally, his research interests encompass various aspects of architecture and urban design, such as architecture and the city, urban design theories, behavior and architecture, and modernist architecture.
Al-Rifai's professional experience extends to architecture and urban design practice, where he has worked on a variety of projects locally and regionally. He actively participates in conferences and practical workshops, both domestically and internationally, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and ideas in his field.
