Banan Salah al-Din is an associate professor who has an extensive academic background:
She studied Arabic language and literature at the Faculty of Arts, University of Jordan.

She obtained her master's degree from Al-Quds University, Palestine.
She earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Research, Egypt.
Currently serving as the head of the Arabic Language Department since 2016.
She is also the coordinator of the Master's program in Arabic Language and Literature, as well as the Master's program in Contemporary Islamic Studies.
Her precise specialization is in modern and contemporary Arabic literature. She has contributed to various scholarly journals and publications:

"The Image of Andalusia in the Diwan of Eleven Planets by the Poet Mahmoud Darwish," published in the Journal of Literature at Taibah University.
"Folk Songs in Contemporary Palestinian Poetry," published in the Journal of Literature at the University of Bahrain.
"Linguistic Duality in Contemporary Palestinian Poetry," published in the Journal of the University of Fez, Morocco.
"Historical Figures in the Poetry of Azzeddine Manasirah," published in the Approaches Journal, Fez, Morocco.
"The Canaanite Presence in the Poetry of Azzeddine Manasirah," published in the Journal of the Qasimi Assembly, Palestine.
"Manifestations of Myth in the Poetry of Azzeddine Manasirah," published in the Researcher Journal, Batna, Algeria.

"The National Dimension in Palestinian Folk Songs during the Period Between 1917-1948," published in the Studies Journal, the University of Jordan.
Furthermore, she has participated in the writing of the final section of the Encyclopedia of Jerusalem, supervised by the Palestinian Ministry of Information. She also contributed to a research encyclopedia on modern Palestinian literature at the Qasimi Assembly in Palestine. Additionally, she presented a book on the iconic Palestinian figure Azzeddine Manasirah, which included five specialized research papers on his poetry.
