Rashid al-Hajj Ibrahim is an Arab from Haifa who was considered one of the city's leaders before the Nakba. He worked actively within the ranks of the national movement against colonialism and Jewish settlement in Palestine . He held important commercial positions in the city, in addition to being a member of the leadership of the Arab Independence Party. He represented Haifa in the General Syrian Congress in its meetings in Damascus in 1919 and 1920.
