Information

Businesswoman Hoda Al-Jack achieved many achievements in the business sector, to be selected by Forbes Middle East Economic Magazine among the list of the hundred most powerful businesswomen in the world. After 14 years of her work as an executive director, Al-Jack today heads more than five companies and investments in the field of transportation and the private sector. Services in the West Bank.

The businesswoman says that she is the only Palestinian woman who occupies the position of CEO of a public shareholding company in Palestine and says that the biggest obstacle she faced is that the environment in which I am is mostly men and they look at me as an executive director.

Al-Jack says that the first position she assumed at the executive level was establishing a company with a capital of one billion dollars in the Gulf. The woman says that when men get a position, they say it is good, but when a woman gets a senior position, they wonder how she got it. And she adds, as a woman, I had to make an effort equivalent to many times what The man strives for me to prove myself and be the only option if an opportunity arises to apply for a higher position

And she says, we women like the decision to be consensual, but sometimes we have to use the same method as the men, which is the presence of red lines and that the role of each person be determined, and we always think that providing all the evidence and completing the matter correctly will mean the success of the work

This is a mistake and the matter is not like this. There is such a thing as relationships and an invitation to drink coffee. There is also a term called the glass ceiling, which some consider to be an obstacle to women’s progress. The businesswoman says that after experience, she decided that the best thing is not to smash the ceiling, but to raise it to the level of men. Crushing is associated with ruin, but lifting brings you to a stage from which you learn, and women must cooperate in raising this ceiling with the help of men who support this idea.
