Haifa Al-Najjar is the woman who occupied a distinguished position in the journey of Jordanian women, and helped build promising and superior generations. You bet that they are among the best leaders in society.
She lived her life between education and serving the Jordanian community, and her success is the pride of every Jordanian woman. Her ultimate goal and dream is to see Jordan prosperous with its youth, and she believes that success comes with the support and support of others.
She is Her Excellency Haifa Najjar, General Director of Al-Ahliyya and Al-Mutanar Schools, and a member of the Jordanian Senate. She was chosen by the Jordanian “Business” magazine as one of the most powerful women in Jordan, and was also chosen by “Forbes” magazine as one of the 200 most powerful women in the Arab world.
There is no better way to talk about her career full of giving than in the “question and answer” format, and here is the text of the interview:
-Your life is full of great and inspiring achievements. How did you start achieving your dreams?
My dreams have not come true yet; Dreams are the motivation for a person to work, innovate, and strive. If a person feels that his dreams have been fulfilled, the flame of adventure, creativity, and renewal will fade for him. I still dream of a prosperous, green, creative, and innovative Jordan, an oasis of democracy and security. A just, fair and loving Jordan in which our sons, daughters and grandchildren soar towards the sky of creativity, to be a center for innovation, excellence, renewal and creativity in any field, and to become a center of radiance for all of humanity.
-What are the most important stages of success in your life?
Success lies in building good human relations, building bridges of trust between people, protecting our noble human values, interacting flexibly, and learning continuously and permanently in order for our wisdom to mature and our understanding of life to increase.

Success is not only in holding positions; Success is in helping a person overcome challenges and stand up again.
Success is in saving a male or female student from dropping out of school.
Success is raising four daughters and helping them pave the way for their future.
But if you consider success in holding positions, then in holding the position of general director of the civil school and the bishop, especially the bishop’s school with a long, rich history that has graduated the leaders of this country, and my success in returning it to occupy the position it deserves. My success in the civil school and the bishop increases my ability to love and give. It raises my values of justice and fairness, and increases my faith and humility because I have always been surrounded by this huge amount of supportive and loving people.
I consider the honor of my appointment to the Senate a success for Jordanian women, for me, and for every educator, in addition to my chairmanship of the technical committee for the Queen Rania Award for Distinguished Teacher and Principal, because I learned a lot from my work in this award and we devoted a culture of excellence at work, and my membership in the King Abdullah II Fund for Excellence, and other Memberships that I am proud of.
I also made a modest contribution to establishing a community platform called Taqadum, which is a civil society organization that works hard for an open, democratic, green, and safe Jordan.

-Haifa Najjar is a name that helped build rising Jordanian generations. What do you think of the creativity of the people of Jordanian society?
I spent my entire career working with young people and for young people. Education is the pillar of any society, because it builds people. I have gained many values from my work with young people, whether learners or educated teachers.
It is a great pride to see our youth being creative in many fields. They provide models for the whole world with their creativity in multiple fields, and if this indicates anything, it indicates the existence of fertile soil for creativity in our country that needs support and assistance, and that the Jordanian youth is distinguished, patient, dreamer and ambitious. On this occasion, I call on all public and private sectors and civil society organizations to adopt these innovations. And support it.
-What advice do you constantly give to your children in society?
I constantly tell my students: “You are not passing numbers,” and this sentence summarizes my advice to them, because I believe that they are capable of change and leave their mark wherever they go, and are looking to achieve goals far removed from material goals, and always carry their country in their hearts.
I always call on them to be creative and pioneering, thinkers and critics, researchers and experimenters, always readers and learners, in addition to emphasizing on them to be faithful citizens who work diligently to make Jordan an exceptional model of prosperity, social security, justice, productivity and self-reliance, by understanding duties before rights, and protecting... The nation and celebrate its achievements, and to be able to find new opportunities to enhance economic growth through leadership and creativity, and rejecting consumption values and habits.
-What is the importance of the school stage for students?
Childhood is one of the most important stages of personal, social and emotional development. The school does not provide physics, mathematics and history information; School is a life, through which the student forms friendships with his colleagues and teachers, learns dialogue, adopts opinions, and respects the opinion of others, and becomes in constant dialogue with himself and others. The non-traditional school opens wide horizons for creativity for students and refines their personalities and talents.
The school we seek is a center for permanent, continuous learning that teaches its students how to remain educated, motivated, and charged with energy for life. The school we seek is the one that involves its students in making decisions and shaping life inside and outside its walls. It is the fertile basic base from which the student departs into the vastness of the world.
The School of the Future does not only open its arms to its students, but also to the local community, so that the school becomes a cultural center for enlightenment, change, research and investigation for its students and the community alike. It holds seminars and cultural meetings, its library is open to the people of the neighborhood, and its halls are vibrant and active. The school must also provide students with a platform through which they can communicate

-What is the reason behind your success and distinction in the position of Jordanian women?
I have clarity of vision about the Jordan we want, and I am fortunate to be surrounded by distinguished educators who believe in their collective role in building the nation, my belief in the importance of what I do, and the constant hope that tomorrow is more beautiful, and that we are able to create this tomorrow with honest work and the tireless effort exerted by a work team. A lover who seeks the public interest, works to renew the vision and constantly search for the true meaning of work, within clear work strategies, specific time plans, continuous self-review, and full accountability with high-level governance.
This is in addition to the love surrounding her and the abundant support from my husband, daughters, friends, colleagues, and colleagues, and the positive energy that our beloved Jordan gives me with its steadfastness and belief in all of humanity.
-What motivates you to work?
Serving this dear country and its good people, believing in man and that he always deserves the best, and to see Jordan referred to as Lebanon and taken as a model for the whole world.
-Who are your inspirations at work?
Everyone I work with inspires me, and I learn from each one of them, from my students I learn and inspire, from a teacher working in the far reaches of Jordan I learn and inspire, from a woman who makes a living from a small project that I struggled for, I inspire, from my husband who works day and night tirelessly to develop... Jordanian industry learn and inspire.
