Hatem Muhammad Helmy Abdel Samie Bakri (born March 9, 1964 in Hebron) is a Sharia judge and preacher of the Ibrahimi Mosque. He holds the position of Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the State of Palestine since the limited cabinet reshuffle of Muhammad Shtayyeh’s government on January 1, 2022.

Al-Bakri holds a BA in Islamic Sharia from Hebron University.

He was the director of the office of the mayor of Hebron, deputy head of the Sharia Court of Appeal, and secretary of the Supreme Council for Sharia Judiciary in the State of Palestine.
