Muhammad Naeem Yassin, whose name at birth was Naeem Abdul Salam Ibrahim Yassin (Abu Amr; born on June 11 , 1943 in Salfit - died on January 2 , 2023 [1] in Jordan Hospital in Amman ), is a Palestinian writer , author, academic, and Islamic advocate . [2]
His life [ edit ]
Muhammad Naeem Yassin was born on June 11, 1943 in the town of Salfit during the British Mandate of Palestine, where he received his school education there and in Nablus . He joined the University of Damascus and obtained a university degree in Sharia in 1964, and a university degree in law in 1965.
He later completed his graduate studies, obtaining a master’s degree in Islamic law from Al-Azhar University in 1968, and a master’s degree in law from Cairo University in 1968. He also obtained a doctorate in Islamic law in 1972 from Al-Azhar University .
He worked as a professor at the College of Sharia at the University of Jordan , the College of Sharia and Law at Qatar University , the College of Sharia at Kuwait University, which he co-founded, and the College of Sharia and Law at the International Islamic Sciences University in Jordan.
He was also a member of several bodies, universities and scientific committees, most notably: the Jordanian Fatwa Council, the Committee for the Establishment of the College of Sharia at the University of Kuwait , the Kuwaiti Ministry of Endowments and Justice, Qatar University, the University of Jordan, the University of Applied Sciences in Jordan, the College of Islamic and Arab Studies in Dubai, and the University of the United Arab Emirates. And the International Islamic Sciences University .

Scholarships and awards [ edit ]
In 1964, he received a scholarship from the Jordanian Ministry of Education to study at university, after successfully passing the 1960 high school exam and obtaining an excellent rank on both banks. [3]
In 1966, he received a scholarship from the Jordanian Ministry of Education to study for a master’s degree. [3]
In 1968, he received a scholarship from the Jordanian Ministry of Education to study for a doctorate. [3]
In 1989, he received the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences Award in the field of medical jurisprudence, which is awarded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences . [3]
