Alaa Attia (Arabic: Alaa Attia; born June 3, 1990 in Gaza, Palestine) is a Palestinian professional footballer who currently plays for the Jordanian Premier League team Al Yarmouk Club on loan from Ittihad Al Shejaiya.

club career
He attracted the attention of scouts when he scored 24 goals for Gaza sport in the 2010-2011 season with the Egyptian and Jordanian giants Al-Ahly team Al-Wehdat most interested in securing his services.  After the 2010-11 season, he moved to Ittihad Al-Shujaia, but with the league suspended, he obtained a loan to Al-Yarmouk. He scored in his first match in a 3-1 loss against Al-Ramtha, and the winner will score from a penalty kick against Manshiet Beni Hassan. He also scored in the second leg of the Jordan Football Association Cup quarter-final against Manshiyat Bani Hassan. 

international career
In order to play for his country in the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup, Alaa Attia agreed to forego $5,000 of his wages.  Attia made his first match for the Palestinian national team against the United Arab Emirates on February 24, 2012, but was forced to leave in the first half due to injury. He scored the first goal for Palestine in the 2012 Asian Challenge Cup in the third minute against the host of Nepal, and assisted Fahd Atal's second goal.
