Information
He was born in Dura in 1948 and completed his school education in Dura and Hebron. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Aleppo, Syria, in 1975.
He began his career as a certified engineer for Dura Municipality and ran a private engineering office until 1983. After that, he worked for a year in Saudi Arabia before returning to work as an engineer in the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem and Hebron. He held the position of Head of the Construction Department in the Engineering Department of the Islamic Endowments Department.
He became a member of the General Assembly of the Association in 1979 and was elected as a member of the Association Council for the years 1980, 1983, 1986, and 1991. He is also affiliated with a number of charitable associations in the governorate.
He is the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Dura Cooperative Housing Society, the Secretary of the Housing Council Company, and a member of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee.
