Information

Ahmad Nasr Jarrar (1994-2018) was a Palestinian youth who belonged to the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas). The Israeli army chased him for weeks after several failed attempts to reach him because he was accused of carrying out the killing of a settler near Nablus in the northern West Bank in January 2018, until his clash with Israeli special forces in Al-Yamoun near Jenin, which led to his death on February 6, 2018.

After those chases and clashes, Jarrar turned into a symbol of resistance inside and outside the West Bank, and mourning houses were opened for him in Palestine, Jordan and Syria. He is the son of Nasr Jarrar, the fatalistic leader in Hamas, who was pursued by Israeli forces in several failed attempts for more than a year, until he was killed in 2002.

his life
Ahmad Jarrar was born in the Burqin Valley, west of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, in 1994. He received basic and secondary education, and obtained a university degree in hospital administration from the Arab American University in Jenin. He also worked in commerce. The Israeli forces demolished his house several times, the first of which was in 2002 when his father, Nasr, was targeted in a military operation, and the last of which was weeks before his martyrdom in 2018.
