He obtained his PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, China, where he studied in the College of Nursing, specializing in Health Sciences. His PhD thesis focused on "Disasters," and he completed the program between 2017 and 2020.
He also earned a Master's degree from the University of Oviedo in Spain, specializing in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing within the College of Postgraduate Studies. His Master's thesis was in the same field, and he completed his studies from 2012 to 2014.
