Nour Taher Mohammed Al-Aqraa is an academic and administrative professional currently serving as the Acting Director of the Salfit Branch at Al-Quds Open University. With a strong background in law and administrative sciences, he holds the rank of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences. His career in higher education administration and academia spans several years, during which he has played a crucial role in both institutional management and academic development.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Management and Leadership from Al-Quds Open University in 2003, followed by a Master's degree in Rural Development, specializing in Building Institutions and Human Resource Development, from Al-Quds University in 2010. In 2015, he obtained his Ph.D. in Law and Administrative Sciences from Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Morocco, further strengthening his expertise in legal and administrative matters.
His professional journey at Al-Quds Open University began in 2004 when he served as a Personnel Officer and Public Relations Officer. He later advanced to become the Head of the Personnel Affairs Department in 2005, a role he held until 2010. From 2011 to 2017, he served as an Administrative Assistant, followed by his tenure as an Academic Assistant from 2017 to 2018. His leadership skills led to his appointment as Acting Director of the Qalqilya Branch in 2018, and he was later promoted to Branch Manager in 2019, a position he held until mid-2022. Currently, he serves as the Acting Director of the Salfit Branch, continuing to contribute to the university’s development and administration.
With extensive experience in academic administration, personnel management, and institutional leadership, he has played a key role in enhancing the operational and academic structure of the university. His work focuses on strengthening administrative efficiency, fostering academic excellence, and improving institutional policies to support students and faculty. Through his dedication and leadership, he continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of higher education and administrative sciences.
