She has been the director of Rania's media office in Gaza since 1997, oversees the BDN news website, and has been Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Social Development since 1999.

She belonged to the Fatah movement, was active in student work, and was a member of the administrative body of the Shabiba movement and its spokesperson at the Islamic University between 1993 and 1997. She was also a member of the leadership of the Eastern Gaza region in the Fatah movement between 1995 and 1997, and worked as a media professional in the offices of the Shabiba movement.

She has been involved in institutional work and is a member of several institutions, unions, councils and associations, including: the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate since 1999, the Palestinian Women's Union, the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Wounded Association since 2014, the Palestinian Writers Union since 2014, the Executive Body of the Palestinian Council for National Empowerment since 2015, the Advisory Committee for the Project to Support Palestinian Resilience through Dialogue (CMI), the Secretariat Committee of the National Movement to End the Division and Restore National Unity between 2017 and 2022, the National Committee to Support UNRWA since 2018, and the Women's Dialogue Bloc in 2022. She formed the “My Beloved Homeland” campaign to end the division, and was among the participants in the “Patriots to End the Division” movement. She was a candidate for the Gaza municipal elections for the Fatah movement, and a candidate on the Fatah list in the legislative elections scheduled for May 2021. She participated in several conferences and workshops, including: the Model Arab League Conference (Cairo, 1997-1998), the Conference of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (Sharjah, 2002), and the Conference to Strengthen the Resilience of the Palestinian People (Istanbul, 2021). She has also been a member of the International Academic Campaign Against Occupation and Apartheid since 2021. She has authored a book entitled “Palestinian Women and the Struggle for Existence” (2017).

You believe the future of the Palestinian cause is difficult, but hope exists and the conflict with the occupation continues and must end.

She believes that the Oslo Accords were one of the options that Fatah was forced to make as a result of the difficult political circumstances and reality that the PLO was experiencing at the time. Although they did not meet the needs of the Palestinian people and were not implemented properly, some rights and a portion of Palestinian land were achieved. She believes that the division is an Israeli goal achieved through Palestinian tools, and is a disaster for the Palestinian people. It has caused the decline of the Palestinian cause and killed the dream of a Palestinian state, as well as the system of values and ethics. She calls for national partnership between the Authority and the PLO. On the other hand, she believes that agreeing on a unified program is difficult because Hamas is trying to be an alternative to the PLO. She describes the Palestinian political system as weak due to the absence of the Legislative Council and in need of serious reforms.

It believes in all of Palestine, from the river to the sea, regardless of proposed agreements. It supports the full return of refugees to their homes and believes in resistance in all its forms. It describes the wave of change in the Arab world as "autumn." It believes that what happened in some Arab countries is deliberate and aims to destroy them, with Israel behind it. This is confirmed by the normalization agreements between the occupying state and some Arab countries, which occurred after the Arab peoples' voices on the Palestinian issue were silenced.
