Jaser Abdelgafar Mohtaseb is a Mechatronics Engineer and long-standing staff member at Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU). He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics from PPU in 2002, graduating with a cumulative GPA of 88.7. Born and raised in Hebron, Mr. Mohtaseb completed his secondary education at Al-Hussein Bin Ali School, where he achieved a GPA of 90.7 in the national Tawjihi exam.
Shortly after graduation, he joined PPU as a research and teaching assistant, serving in that role for two years. He then took on the position of Mechatronics Systems Laboratory Supervisor, a role he continues to hold. Over the years, Mr. Mohtaseb has enriched his professional expertise by participating in a variety of specialized courses, covering topics such as manufacturing, computer-integrated manufacturing, technical drawing and design, sensors, microcontrollers, and logic controller programming.
