Mazen Hamed Al-Hasasneh is a distinguished Palestinian businessman, legal expert, and community leader based in Istanbul, Turkey. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and has actively participated in numerous lectures, seminars, and international economic conferences across Turkey, the Arab region, and the world. Known for his strong public communication and international relations skills, Mr. Al-Hasasneh has received numerous awards and honorary shields, including the State Award of Turkey in 2016 and the Palestinian State Medal awarded by President Mahmoud Abbas in 2023.
Born on March 15, 1971, and currently married with five children (two sons and three daughters), Mr. Al-Hasasneh has held several prominent positions. He is a member of the Palestinian National and Central Councils, Chairman of the Palestinian-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and owner of Al-Basha International Group for Shipping and International Trade, which operates in eight countries. He served as the President of the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Association from 2013 until May 10, 2025.
He also heads the Basmet Entrepreneurial Project in Palestine and the diaspora, and serves as the General Supervisor of Shaqaeq Al-Nu'man Cultural Foundation. In addition, Mr. Al-Hasasneh is Vice President of the Palestine Conference in Turkey, Board Member of Al-Nuseirat Sports Club, Member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Quds Open University, Board Member of the Al-Quds University Center for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and a member of several innovation and philanthropic organizations, including the Council for Creativity and Excellence - Turkey, Digital Academy for Scientific Innovation, Jerusalem Endowment Council, Right to Life Association, and the Honorary Council of Al-Wehdat Club in Jordan.
