Faiza Hussein is a Research and Teaching Assistant with a strong academic background in health sciences and medical research. She earned her Master’s degree in Health Sciences from Koç University in Türkiye between 2021 and 2023. Her postgraduate research focused on the properties of the active ingredient in ginger as an anti-inflammatory, highlighting her interest in natural products and their therapeutic applications.
Prior to her graduate studies, Faiza completed her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences at An-Najah National University in Palestine (2011–2015). Her undergraduate thesis explored the properties of the active ingredient in rosemary as an antibacterial agent, reflecting her early focus on biomedical research and natural compounds.
Professionally, Faiza has extensive experience in academia and research. She worked at An-Najah National University in Palestine as a Research and Teaching Assistant from January 2015 to September 2022, where she supported laboratory work, academic research, and student learning. Following this role, she continued her academic journey as a teacher at An-Najah National University from October 2023 to February 2025, further strengthening her teaching expertise and commitment to higher education.
