William Handal: A politician from the Republic of El Salvador, originally from the Palestinian city of Bethlehem. He held several political and economic positions, including financial advisor to the Salvadoran Airlines Company, then president of the Union of Airlines in El Salvador, then president of the Executive Committee of the Central American Airlines Association and director of the airport and port of El Salvador. He was then chosen as Vice President of the Council of Finance Ministers of Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic, and then appointed to the position of Minister of Finance in the Republic of El Salvador.
