A Norwegian lawyer of Palestinian origin from the city of Rafah, a member of the Norwegian Labour Party. He was the first Palestinian to run in the municipal elections in the Norwegian county of Sola, where foreigners are scarce, and he was able to achieve a sweeping success and come in third place on the Labour Party list. He is now the head of the International Network for Development and Rights.
