Judge Falah Al-Madhi was born in the village of Ijzim in the Haifa district in 1912 to an ancient and wealthy family that played a role in political and social events during the Ottoman era and then during the Mandate era.
He received his education at the school of his village, in Haifa and Acre, then obtained a degree from the Arab College in Jerusalem. He worked as a teacher in Haifa and Beisan, then as director of Samakh School until 1948. He was a member of the Arab Nationalists Bloc in Haifa in 1947 AD.
He immigrated to Syria after the Nakba of 1948 and worked as an English language teacher in its secondary schools. Then he was chosen as director of the Palestine Institute (Alliance) affiliated with the International Relief Agency.
He studied law at Damascus University and obtained a law degree in 1955 and a specialization certificate in economic sciences.
He moved to Nablus and practiced the legal profession in the cities of the West Bank and then in Amman. He was elected vice president of the Jordanian Bar Association for two terms between 1966 and 1969.
He settled in Ramallah, and was chosen as a member of the Preparatory Committee for the First Palestinian National Council. He contributed to drawing up the Charter of the Liberation Organization, and was chosen as a member of the First Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization in 1964 and its Secretary.
After that, he traveled to the Emirate of Dubai in 1976, where he worked as a judge and legal advisor in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. He was then appointed as a legal advisor to the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, until he returned to Ramallah in 1991.
He was a member of the Board of Trustees of Birzeit University, a member of the Jordanian Red Crescent Society in Ramallah, and a member of the Family Recovery Society in Al-Bireh.
He died in Amman in 1998, and has two sons and two daughters.
