Khawla Ragheb Abdul-Hay Shakhshir (born February 25 , 1947 in Nablus ) is a Palestinian academic who served as Minister of Education and Higher Education from June 2, 2014  to June 30 , 2015.  Shakhshir holds a PhD in Science Education from the University of Northern Colorado in the United States in 1981. 

Her life

On April 20, 2024, it was announced that she would be reappointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Central Elections Commission for a new term starting April 1, 2024.
