Yasser Muhammad Yusuf al-Najjar is a Palestinian politician and diplomat . His father, Abu Yusuf al-Najjar, was the commander-in-chief of the Fatah Storm Forces and a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization .

Practical life

He started on January 30, 2003 as Director General at the Palestinian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.  Later, on October 31, 2005, he was granted the rank of Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Norway and Non-Resident Ambassador to Iceland since January 26, 2012.  Then, on August 1, 2013, he was appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Albania and presented his credentials on October 10, 2013.  He was retired on April 1, 2018.
