Hael Adel Tawfiq Al-Fahoum (born December 29, 1952 in Nazareth ) is a Palestinian diplomat , who was the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Germany , then France , and currently to Tunisia .
Practical life
He was appointed Assistant Undersecretary at the General Personnel Council, and was assigned to work in the Supreme Committee for Finance and Investment on December 1, 1998.
On October 31, 2005, he was appointed Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , and Head of the Palestinian Mission to the Federal Republic of Germany .
He presented his credentials as Commissioner General of Palestine to France on 9 June 2010.
On October 1, 2015, Al-Fahoum was appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Tunisia. On December 3, 2015, he presented his credentials to the Tunisian President.
Achievements and Awards
Medals
In October 2015, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of President François Hollande, awarded him the National Order of Merit on the occasion of the end of his term and in appreciation of his role in strengthening Palestinian-French and Arab-French relations.
