Ahmad Hashem Ahmad Zughayr (Abu Hashem; born November 5, 1937 in Jerusalem – died January 17, 2018 in Jerusalem ) was a Palestinian politician and parliamentarian . He was a member of the first Palestinian Legislative Council between 1996 and 2006, where he ran in the 1996 Palestinian general elections as a representative of the Fatah movement in the Jerusalem Governorate district, receiving 7,613 votes.
He was a member of the Palestinian National Council and the Palestinian Central Council , head of the Agricultural Society in Jericho , head of the Jerusalem Committee in the Palestinian Legislative Council , head of the Board of Directors of the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Palestine.
