Ismail Salim Hijazi , (Abu Mazen; 1915 – September 1990 ) was a Jordanian politician , parliamentarian , and minister of Palestinian origin.
His biography
Ismail Hijazi was born in Hebron , Palestine, in 1915. He completed his secondary education there , then enrolled at the Khadouri Institute in Tulkarm , graduating with a diploma in agriculture .
He worked as a teacher in Beersheba , then became a principal of a secondary school. After the Jordanian administration of the West Bank and the unification of the two banks , he worked as director of the Hebron Endowments , then devoted himself to political work, where he was a member of the Jordanian Parliament .
