Carlos Samour: A judge from El Salvador of Palestinian origin from the city of Bethlehem. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Denver. He began his career as Deputy District Attorney in Denver and later served as a law clerk for former U.S. Judge Robert McWilliams.
In 2018, he was appointed by the Governor of Colorado as an Associate Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, and in 2020 he was officially elected to this position for a term of ten years.
