Esteban Olivera Bendek: A Colombian judge of Palestinian origin from the city of Bethlehem, he holds a doctorate in law and political science and specializes in criminal law and criminology from the University of the Study of Rome. He has held many positions, including judge in the Disciplinary Court in Bogota, dean of the Faculty of Law at the Free University of Bogota, and president of the Association of Deans of Faculties of Law in Colombia. He presided over the Supreme Constitutional Court of Colombia. He is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, Latin, Aramaic, and English.
