Pierre De Bané is a Canadian politician of Palestinian origin, born in 1938 in the city of Haifa. He studied law at Canadian universities and was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in 1968, becoming the first individual of Arab origin to hold this position. He was re-elected in 1972, 1974, 1979, and 1980.

In 1972, he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of State for External Affairs. He later served as Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs in 1974, Minister of Civil Affairs in 1974, Minister of Regional Economic Expansion in 1980, Minister of External Relations in 1982, and Minister of Fisheries and Oceans in 1982.

In 1984, De Bané was appointed to the Canadian Senate. In 2005, he was named President of the Francophone Armed Police Forces (Canadian branch).
