Juan José Dabdoub: A politician and economist from El Salvador of Palestinian origin, he holds the position of Managing Director of the World Bank. He has held several positions, including former Salvadoran Minister of Finance and President of the Public Electricity Company of El Salvador. He is also a prominent businessman and an important member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce. His original family name, which immigrated from Palestine in 1887, is Dabdoub, and his grandfather was one of the major owners of cotton farms in El Salvador.
