Shawky Joseph Al-Fahl: A Canadian politician and businessman who hails from the Palestinian city of Nazareth. He serves as the Secretary General of the Liberal Party in the city of Waterloo in the province of Ontario, and is the chairman and sponsor of two non-profit housing projects in the city. He is also the chairman of the Diversity Committee in support of the Charlottetown Convention, the Arab Canadian Friendship Association, and the Arab Businessmen Association. He is also a member of about twenty associations and committees.
